    In this article written by CBC it shows the timeline from the past 2 weeks on the Ottawa River, from the earliest flood warnings to the coming peak.

    As of today (Monday April 29th) here are some of the numbers:

    – 8,656 volunteers have helped at three sites since Friday with 3,363 volunteers helping on Sunday alone

    – 994,260 sandbags have been made available to residents;

    – More than 700 Canadian Armed Forces members are providing flood relief;

    – City emergency services and public health have visited 466 homes;

    – 21 residents have fled their homes.
